MW Accounting & Tax LLC is a full service CPA firm providing accounting, tax and consulting services to small businesses and individuals in Southern Wisconsin.

Michele M. Wettstein, CPA, CFP®
Michele has over 20 years of tax and accounting experience. She has serviced business clients ranging in size from sole proprietors to multi-state corporations. Michele has extensive experience with various accounting software packages and brings that knowledge to help clients find a new accounting system or optimize their existing system. She helps her clients focus on their business strengths by providing the needed services adapted to each unique business owner’s work style. Michele is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure all of the client’s needs are addressed and she excels at explaining the pertinent details of financial reports in meaningful terms and calmly explaining any unfamiliar IRS terminology.
As a QuickBooks® ProAdvisor, Michele provides software set-up, training, clean-up, troubleshooting, bookkeeping and payroll services. She also serves individuals needing tax and financial planning work. Her firm serves clients in all of Southern Wisconsin as well as remote clients in several states. Michele earned her B.S. from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI and also holds an A.S. in Financial Planning from Waukesha County Technical College. Michele worked for various national and local CPA firms, specializing in the setup, implementation and training in several different accounting software packages prior to starting her own firm in 2004. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Middleton Chamber of Commerce.
Michele lives in Middleton with her husband, two children and their spunky Miniature Schnauzer, Smokey. When Michele is not working, she enjoys travel, reading and involvement in local non-profit organizations.
